Fluttering… and a fairy garden!

Morning bloggers, I hope you all had a great weekend?

It’s the final day of June (can you believe it?) so time for our last make by Sheri who has been our very fabulous Guest Designer this month
Sheri used the Fluttering stamp to make this adorable gift box…

Sheri 4 - June - Fluttering
Sheri 4 - June - Fluttering 2

She covered it in the Timeless Victorian papers and added some feet and lots of embossing paste and Gesso before embellishing
If the box is not gorgeous enough on it’s own just look what’s inside…
it’s a kit to make a fairy garden!
Sheri 4 - June - Fluttering 3
This is a pic of one of Sheri’s fairy gardens, I haven’t seen this done before…  how sweet
What a wonderful gift idea to give someone, a little starter kit to make their own
Sheri 4 - June - Fluttering 4
Sheri will put details for the box and also show you more of her fairy gardens on her own blog here so please make sure you go and have a peek

I’d like to thank Sheri for joining us as an amazing Guest Designer, she’s made some beautiful things for us
I’ll be introducing our new Guest DT for July on Wednesday

Here’s our candy winner from Saturday, it was you Diane

Saturday Sketch…

Morning everyone, thank you for taking time out of your Saturday to stop by

I have a new Sketch today and a card by our clever Gretha

Sketch #18

I think this is a lovely layout with many options for moving the elements around

Gretha used our YeeHaa! stamp to make her lovely card…

The circular ‘best friends’ greeting is one of our Pretty Grungy sentiments

Hope you like it, full details are on Gretha’s blog here if you would like to know what else she used

Leave us a comment if you want to be in today’s draw, our candy from Thursday goes to…

Bunny Moon…

Morning crafters, sorry about the hiccup with the linky yesterday! By the time I noticed it wasn’t working quite a few of you had already visited so I’ll do a linky today instead and draw yesterday’s winner from the comments

I have two VERY different cards today, both using the same stamp

This little cutie is called Bunny Moon

Bunny Moon - Elise

This first card is by Elise, she’s used the no line colouring technique which is very popular at the moment
You stamp your image with a pale ink instead of black so the outline doesn’t show when it’s coloured in
Elise has gone around the edge with a white pen after colouring for extra effect

Bunny Moon - Jen

My second card is by Jen, a lovely CAS card using a tag from our Babies Companion set

Hope you like them, two very different styles but both really lovely cards I think
Leave your name in the linky and we’ll give away this stamp as today’s prize
The winner from Wednesday is Celestial Star, well done, please email your address to

That’s it from me, can you believe another week has flown by?
Make sure you stop by tomorrow for the new Sketch and then I have a lovely project to share on Sunday along with a giveaway so don’t miss that!!

Hanging Around….

Morning all, thanks for stopping by!

If you’ve ordered the Crafty Kits multi buy you are really going to enjoy using them   …and you got a great deal!!

If you weren’t around over the weekend here’s the offer which is the one that was featured on our recent Create and Craft show. Quite a few people unfortunately missed out on it due to a hiccup on their website so we’re happy to be able to honour the deal for a limited time

I have another male card today, this one is by Becky

Hanging Around - Becky

She made a 3rd Birthday card for a Nephew but I think this image could be used for many age groups, it’s one of our earlier designs and still a popular one

The ‘Nephew’ wording is one of our useful Sentiment Tags and the paper is from the Father Knows Best pad which goes really well with the kraft card

There’s still plenty of time to enter our June challenge which is to make us a male or sporty card. If you’ve not visited for a while then look back through the June posts for lots of inspiration. Click on the graphic below to see all the challenge details, more inspiration and to enter…

Leave a comment to be in the daily candy draw. Sunday’s winner is Jane, well done Jane you won a sheet each of our new sentiments and die cut flowers so please email your address to and she’ll get those sent out to you

See you tomorrow crafters, have a lovely Tuesday

Guest DT

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you all had a great weekend

I have another beautiful project from Sheri to share with you today, she is joining us throughout June as our Guest Designer

Sheri made a coffee pot to match the Coffee Break image, and a tea bag dispenser...   but she said seeing as it's a coffee pot and not a tea pot she made it into a chocolate dispenser instead, what a lovely idea and I wonder if our Lili of the Valley chocolates would fit in there?

Sheri 3 - June - Coffee Break

The Coffee Break stamp is one of our older ones but still a very popular image and perfect for all your girlie cards

Sheri 3 - June - Coffee Break 2

The sentiment is from Simply Sophisticated and the papers are from the scrumptious Timeless Victorian pad - which as you’ve probably realised by now is Sheri’s favourite lol

You can get full details for this amazing project on Sheri’s own blog here and there are lots more pictures so you can get a better look at the details

You always leave such lovely comments to encourage our Guest Designers and I know that they are very much appreciated

A candy winner will be drawn from the comments we get today so let us know what you think.

Our winner from Saturday is fame01, well done Sarah, email with your address

See you tomorrow everyone, have a good Monday

Special Offer, Crafty Kits…

Morning all, hope you are having a nice weekend

I want to tell you about an offer we have today, for a limited time (or while stocks last) you can get a bundle of our new Crafty Kits for a special reduced price

We are aware that a lot of you struggled online to find the 3D kits when they were featured on Create and Craft (we’re not sure why but they didn’t appear on their website) so we are delighted to be able to honour the offer if you missed out on it or weren’t able to see the show

You will get kits to make 3 Picnic Hampers, 3 Fold-Over Tag Cards and 3 Mini Baskets, plus loads of sentiments and flowers …and a free set of paper chains!

Worth £23.50 you will pay just £17.99 …and postage is FREE!

These are so new that I didn’t have any pictures in the galleries so please excuse the quality of these, I took them on my phone of some of the samples we have in the shop just to show you how fabulous and versatile they are…

KITS 1      KITS 6

These are the mini baskets, so cute for sweeties or little gifts

We’ve added an organza ribbon bow to one and a few gems to the other but the choice is yours as to how much you trim them up

KITS 2   KITS 4   KITS 5

This is my personal favourite, the amazing fold over tag card, so quick to make and so pretty

You can see how many variations you can get with ribbon, buttons, glitter and gems

The bottom picture has one of our James the Bear toppers added to the tag

This is the adorable picnic basket, again everything is provided. You can choose to embellish if you want but if you prefer not to you can literally pop the pieces out, stick and it’s done!

The flowers and sentiments you see on these samples are included, there is a sheet of each in the kits which means you get 3 sheets of each, plenty to keep you going and there’s enough to use on your other cards and projects too!

Finally just to show that the free set of paper chains can be put to many other uses. Dawny made this sample card showing that the papers strips can be used for weaving and other paper techniques, how great is that for a freebie!

All the kits are printed with our popular Promises papers so loads of different designs in these gorgeous purple and green colours that you can mix and match

I think whatever your level of crafting you will love them  ….and especially with the summer holidays coming up, they are brilliant for the kids!

You can find the offer on the website HERE

Leave us a comment and today’s prize will be a sheet each of the flowers and the sentiments

Friday’s winner is Crafty, well done, email your address to

That was a long post… I hope you’re still with me!

Make sure you stop by tomorrow for another beautiful make from Sheri who is our Guest designer for June

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone

Cobweb …and a Saturday Sketch

Good morning everyone, the forecast is good so hopefully we will have a sunny weekend and I can get some gardening done. If it’s not so nice I won’t be complaining because then I’ll just have to take myself into the attic to do some crafting!

sketches 880

I have a new Sketch today and a fabulous card made by our Dawny

Sketch #17

This is quite a busy Sketch but I think there are lots of options using the layout as a guide…

Cobweb - Dawny

Dawny’s card is a large one (8x8) which makes a change from the 6x6 ones that our DT usually make

She used papers from the Petal Fresh pad and a greeting from Scroll Sentiments

The little cutie is one of our new 10th Birthday Fairies and she’s called Cobweb, she was one of the top sellers from this launch and you all loved her

If you don’t like to stamp then you can get this and the rest of the fairy images in our Magical Fairies art pad

Dawny’s card is pretty close to the Sketch, she just added a few gems, a bow and a lovely die cut swirl (this is done with a DooHickey die which we do have available in the shop)

Thanks for looking, I’ve had some great feedback about the Sketches and I’m happy that so many of you are finding them useful

Here’s our winner from Theme Thursday…

thursday june 19th

It’s linky entry 8 which is you Sonia Wall. Well done Sonia, please email your address to and she’ll send you out one of our cute mice stamps

Leave a comment to be in today’s draw, don’t forget that we have candy every day here on the Ideas to Inspire blog

I’ll have a few ideas for using our new crafty kits tomorrow so make sure you stop buy

Have a great Saturday crafters
